With over 25 years experience and more than 40,000 treatments delivered, Robert is among Vermont’s most respected acupuncturists. He is nationally board certified, and has provided leadership to the profession as the President of the Society for Acupuncture Research and the Vermont Acupuncture Association. In addition to his private practice, he provides acupuncture at the UVMMC Comprehensive Pain Program. At Stromatec, Inc, he led a team that received six research grants from the National Institutes of Health to advance the study of human connective tissue. He was the principal investigator on a state of Vermont project studying the effects of acupuncture on Vermont Medicaid patients with chronic pain. Personally, Robert strives to cultivate gratitude and kindness, and feels fulfilled to be invited to collaborate with each patient toward their wellbeing.
